Personal information you disclose to us

 

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

 

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

 

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

•           Contact Information such as name, email, display picture, mailing address, phone number, IP address, geographic location, phone number, occupation, skill interest,

•           Information to enable us to check and verify your identity eg. your date of birth, photo id proof details.

•           Personal characteristics, skills, behavioural and health information.

•           Details about the booking, pictures and recording of booking, children’s interaction with the nanny.

•           We may collect information such as occupation, language, pin-code, area code, referrer URL, location, and the time zone where our Services are used so that we can better understand customer behaviour and improve our products, services, and advertising.

•           We may collect and store details of how you use our Services, including search queries. This information may be used to improve the relevancy of results provided by our Services. Except in limited instances to ensure quality of our Services over the Internet, such information will not be associated with your IP address.

•           With your explicit consent, we may collect data about how you use your device and applications in order to help app developers improve our apps.

•           Emergency contact details including their relationship to the parent

Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. Application Data. If you use our application(s), we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:

•           Geolocation Information. We may request access or permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application(s), to provide certain location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.

•           Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's bluetooth, camera, microphone, sms messages, storage, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.

•           Mobile Device Data. We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system configuration information, device and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server). If you are using our application(s), we may also collect information about the phone network associated with your mobile device, your mobile device’s operating system or platform, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, and information about the features of our application(s) you accessed.

•           Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Information automatically collected

 

In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This includes: Location; and other similar information. A full list of what we use information for can be found in this section and in the previous section titled 'HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?'. We obtain and store on your device ('cache') your location for twelve (12) months. You may revoke your consent anytime by contacting us at the contact details provided at the end of this document. The Google Maps Platform APIs that we use store and access cookies and other information on your devices. •           Offer Wall. Our application(s) may display a third-party hosted 'offer wall'. Such an offer wall allows third-party advertisers to offer virtual currency, gifts, or other items to users in return for the acceptance and completion of an advertisement offer. Such an offer wall may appear in our application(s) and be displayed to you based on certain data, such as your geographic area or demographic information. When you click on an offer wall, you will be brought to an external website belonging to other persons and will leave our application(s). A unique identifier, such as your user ID, will be shared with the offer wall provider in order to prevent fraud and properly credit your account with the relevant reward.

No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than twelve (12) months past the termination of the user's account.

 

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

 

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

 

9. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

 

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

13. CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (“COPPA”) NOTICE

 

 

Supernan Childcare Solutions Private Limited (‘Supernan’, 'Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our',) is committed to privacy and data protection. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and its rules (collectively, “COPPA”) require us to inform parents and legal guardians (as used in this policy, “parents” or “you”) about our practices for collecting, using, and disclosing personal data from children under the age of 13 (“children” or “child”). This notice (“COPPA Notice”) provides additional details regarding the practices described in the Children’s Privacy section of our Privacy Notice.

 

This COPPA Notice only applies to the data collection practices of Supernan websites, applications and services directed to children under the age of 13 (“Services”) and supplements the above Privacy Notice.

 

How Do We Protect Children’s Privacy?

We take special precautions to protect the privacy of children using our Services. If you have a question about whether a particular Service is directed to children, please contact us by sending an email at admin@supernan.app

 

What Data Do We Collect from Children?

Supernan only collects the minimal amount of personal data necessary for our services to function. Specifically, Supernan collects, first name, last name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and date of birth. We collect video and photo recordings while performing the service and data points about the child such as time of meal, time of diaper change etc. to update parents.

 

Note that Supernan staff and third-party supervisors are able to access and view the video feeds, chats and data points about the child’s day. This information may also be used for analytical and security purposes by Supernan.

 

How Do We Use Children’s Personal Data?

We use children’s personal data to provide the Services for your child.

We may use the non-personally identifiable data we collect to improve the Services and to deliver a better and more personalized experience.

 

Supernan retains personal data in a form which permits identification of a child for as long as necessary to provide the Services for the child, or for other business purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. We are required by law to keep some types of information for certain periods of time (e.g., statute of limitations).

 

When Do We Disclose Children’s Personal Data?

We do not sell or rent children’s personal data.

 

Some Services allow children to make information, including personal data, available for Supernan staff and third-party supervisors to view online.

 

We may disclose aggregated data about many of our users, and data that does not identify any individual or device. In addition, we may disclose children’s personal data: (i) to third parties we use to provide or support our Services, such as Jitsi (for video conferencing) and Google (for analytics); (ii) if we are required to do so by law or legal process, such as to comply with any court order or subpoena or to respond to any government or regulatory request; (iii) if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety our company, our customers or others, including to protect the safety of a child, protect the safety and security of the Services; or enable us to take precautions against liability; or (iv) to law enforcement agencies or for an investigation related to public safety.

 

In addition, if Supernan is involved in a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Supernan’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding or event, we may transfer the personal data we have collected or maintain to the buyer or other successor.

 

How Can You Access, Review, and Update Your Child’s Personal Data?

At any time and upon providing proper identification, you may access and review your child’s personal data maintained by us, request that we update or delete such personal data, and/or refuse to allow us from further collecting or using your child’s personal data.

 

You can review, change, or delete your child’s personal data by sending us an email at admin@supernan.app or at the relevant section on our app. To protect your and your child’s privacy and security, we may require you to take certain steps or provide additional information to verify your identity before we provide any personal data or make corrections.
